Begin your journey from Dehradun and travel through the scenic Kumaon hills towards Pithoragarh, the gateway to the higher Himalayan region.

PITHORAGARH→DHARCHULA→ GUNJI / NABI

Perched on the historic Sirakot hill in Didihat, Malaynath Swami Temple is a revered spiritual destination dedicated to Lord Shiva. Locally regarded as a powerful guardian deity, Baba Malaynath is worshipped for protection, prosperity and fulfilment of wishes.

Surrounded by the serene Himalayan landscape, the temple offers beautiful panoramic views of Didihat and the surrounding mountains. The temple’s spiritual significance, local traditions and peaceful setting make it a meaningful stop for travellers exploring the spiritual heritage of Kumaon.

Take blessings at this sacred shrine before continuing towards Dharchula.

DHARCHULA & NEPAL BORDER EXPERIENCE

Continue towards Dharchula through the scenic Himalayan route.

On arrival, explore the Dharchula Market and the Indo-Nepal border area along the Kali River.

Subject to applicable local requirements and permissions, visit Darchula, Nepal, and experience the local surroundings, culture and market atmosphere of the neighbouring country.

Arrive at Gunji / Nabi, settle in and rest well for the next day’s dedicated Adi Kailash Darshan.
